Cans, cans, cans

The main thing to remember is that all of these cans would just be left in the ditch if no one gets them.  Aluminum is infinitely recyclable and takes far less energy to recycle rather than making new aluminum from the raw materials.  Another thing is that a lot of this useful material will often find its way into dumps where it takes up valuable, ever-dwindling space.  Recycling is just basic common sense.

Newell Recycling

We have been working pretty hard on creative ways to raise money and awareness about the environment.  We are getting a little better everyday.  Though the strides seem small right now, we are making a pretty big difference.   Overall, we have recycled over 100 pounds of retail cans and in the next 60 days or so, they will be cans again.  How simple is that?
